About The Artist
Claudia Ahrens is a German artist whose distinctive comic style and vibrant visual language have gained international attention. Her works combine bold colors, dynamic linework, and a narrative, almost cinematic storytelling approach that transforms landscapes, urban scenes, and exotic animals into lively, energetic visual worlds.
Ahrens lives and works across the globe. Particularly influential were her seven months in Venezuela (2024–2025), where she immersed herself deeply in Latin American culture, nature, and vitality. Her travels through Latin America, Asia, and Europe shape a global visual language that resonates with collectors in Europe, the USA, and Latin America.
Her art has been showcased with Singulart in Berlin as well as in exhibitions in Spain and Norway. A detailed artist portrait about her was published in the Venezuelan media outlet La Patilla. Since 2025, Renault Caracas has been displaying her artworks for an entire year on a large LED screen above their store, an exceptional sign of international recognition.
Before beginning her artistic career, Ahrens spent many years as part of the German national judo team. As a multiple National Champion and fifth-place finisher at the European Championships, she brings the same mental strength and intuitive focus into her creative process.
Digital painting and acrylic on canvas are among her central artistic practices. Her works arise from a deep curiosity for people, places, and cultures. Looking ahead, Ahrens intends to continue traveling the world, seeking authentic encounters and translating the stories, colors, and energies of those moments into new, vibrant artworks.
